Gabicce Mare, a wonderful seaside town famous thanks to its sandy beach, is the ideal place for everybody’s holidays, among beautiful natural landscapes of the Mediterranean area. This small seaside town is near the San Bartolo’s Mount Natural Park, a natural area. Historical and art towns of the Apennines are not far: Gradara, Urbino, San Leo and the Republic of San Marino.
Gabicce Mare is a border territory, where two different cultures meet: Romagna’s and Marche’s ones, a real treasure. Gabicce boasts also trendy night clubs and sport facilities, ideal for every kind of holiday.

A unique bay between two regions: Marche and Romagna
Gabicce includes an area until the Vallugola Marina, a wharf with 150 boat-berths, for those who love the sea. Vallugola is Gabicce’s jewel, where it’s possible to dock and to spend a pleasant dreamful holiday.
Its seabed’s really charming: here it’s hidden the mystery of Valbruna, an ancient Roman harbour whose shrines should be sunken here.
There aren’t many traces of the history of Gabicce, but we know that it has a lot in common with the towns in the nearby: first it was under the control of the Church of Ravenna, then of the City of Rimini by the Malatesta family, and later on under the Montefeltros. Gradara is very close, and so is its restored castle, which is now popular thanks to the story of Paolo and Francesca, told by Dante in the “Divina Commedia”
